Article 1 (Definition)
1.“Job Engine” and “Job Engine Agent” are the general terms for the services that support the job change process and related services provided by http://www.jobengine.jp/ and http://agent.jobengine.jp/ which are operated by DIP Co. Ltd and developed by its subsidiary E-Engine.
2.“Member” means any individual who applies to register for this service and whose registration is accepted by DIP Co. Ltd.
3.This service is provided to individuals who are registered by DIP Co. Ltd. as members of “Job Engine” and “Job Engine Agent.”
4.Those applying for registration as described in article 2 are regarded as having accepted these regulations in their entirety .
Article 2 (Registration Procedure & Inspection )
1.An individual who wishes to be a member of this service is required to apply by registering and sending their personal information through the registration procedure page on the website .
2.All applications are subject to inspection .
3.DIP Co. Ltd. maintains the right to refuse registration when an individual is judged as an inappropriate member, and by applying individuals agree not to lodge objections.
Article 3 (ID & Password)
1.Members will be provided with an ID and password.
2.Members must take full responsibility for the usage and management of their ID and password. In situations where a member’s ID and password are used by a third person due to ineffective management or loss on the part of the member, the member must compensate DIP Co. Ltd for all losses incurred as a result.
3.Members cannot for any reason have their ID and / or password used, transferred, lent, altered , sold or mortgaged to , by or for any third person.
Article 4 (Submission for Alteration)
Members must promptly notify DIP Co. Ltd when information related to their registration changes. In the case any loss arises due to a delay in the notification of changes, the member will be responsible for all losses.
Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct )
Members are required to refrain from engaging in any of the following acts :
1.Providing false information upon registration.
2.Committing acts that violate the intellectual property rights , including copyrights , of other members or third persons.
3.Committing acts that violate any legal rights , including property rights and privacy rights , of other members or third persons.
4.Transferring information gained from this service to a third person or providing it for business purposes beyond the use of this service.
5.Committing any acts that interfere with the operation of this service.
6.Committing acts that defame other members of this service or any third parties.
7.Committing acts that violate public order or standards of decency.
8.Committing any acts that fail to conform to the standard of the laws of Japan .
9.Committing any acts that DIP Co. Ltd regard as improper.
Article 6 (Members’ Responsibilities)
1.Members must register for this service under their own initiative .
2.Members must take full responsibility for the accuracy of contents provided through the registration process.
Article 7 (Deletion of Information)
DIP Co. Ltd. retains the right to delete without notice registered information about members who are judged by the company to have contravened in any way the regulations as stated in article 5.
Article 8 (Dismissal From Membership)
DIP Co. Ltd. has the right to dismiss members without a formal hearing when the company judges that members have violated this agreement.
Article 9 (Management of Personal Information)
DIP Co. Ltd. aims to provide suitable assistance to members in their search for employment and for the following purposes the company collects personal information and will use it within the bounds of each purpose.
(1)Personal certification within the bounds of this service.
(2)Providing job information within the bounds of this service.
(3)Receiving correspondence from employing companies or staff service companies that meet job application conditions.
(4)Career diagnosis for members.
(5)Improvement of services and operation of this service.
DIP Co. Ltd. has designated the following person as “personal information protection administrator”, responsible for the overall management and protection of personal information.

Members can correct , add to , or delete their registered personal information at “Job Engine My Page” at any time after logging in using their ID and password.
DIP Co. Ltd. takes necessary and proper measures to prevent leakage or loss of personal information .
DIP Co. Ltd. properly supervises all employees.
When DIP Co. Ltd. consigns any personal information management to a third party, DIP Co. Ltd. takes all necessary care and exercises proper supervision of information controlled by said third party.
DIP Co. Ltd. will not disclose personal information to third parties without consent except under the following circumstances.
(1)When disclosure is requested by law.
(2)When it can be rationally judged necessary for protection in cases involving rights, property and safety.
The following do not meet the definition of “ third party “ for the purposes of this agreement :
(1)When the company consigns all or a part of said personal information to a third party within the bounds of agreed usage.
(2)When personal information is passed to a third party due to a merger or other reason related to the succession of business.
Except for the minimum personal information required for registration with this site ( such as name and mailing address ), members are not obliged to disclose their personal information . How much personal information to include is left up to the judgment of users. However, some services may not be available unless a full registration form is completed .
DIP Co. Ltd. may announce or sell statistical information based on site data . In such cases , no information that can distinguish any individual users will be used.

Article 10 (Use of Registered Information)
DIP Co. Ltd. has the right to secondary use of the information provided by and contained in this service except for information that can specify an individual ( name, address, phone number and e-mail address etc ) for copyrighted works edited or published by DIP Co. Ltd. (this includes websites operated by DIP Co. Ltd.). In this case, the copyright for secondary use belongs to DIP Co. Ltd.
Article 11 (Service)
Members can take advantage of the following services :
Job Engine
1.Job information search and application.
2.Mail service containing information about new jobs.
3.Preparation and saving of resume in PDF format.
4.Receiving scouting mail from companies with available job opportunities that have received member career information anonymously.
5.Other services including career evaluation and guidance .
Job Engine Agent
1Job information and staff service search and application assistance.
2Mail service containing information about new jobs.
3Receiving scouting mail from companies with available job opportunities that have received member career information anonymously.
Article 12 (Fees)
All services are free to members unless otherwise specified by DIP Co. Ltd.
Article 13 (Change of Services)
1.DIP Co.Ltd. has the right to alter or temporarily suspend services to members without prior announcement in order to maintain our services and members agree to lodge no objections.
2.DIP Co. Ltd. has the right to discontinue member services in the long run or terminate them completely two weeks after notice has been issued to members.
3.DIP Co. Ltd. does not take any responsibility for members even when any loss arises due to 2 above.
Article 14 (Temporary Suspension of Service )
1.Members can temporarily suspend their use of this service at any time .
2.In such cases , DIP Co. Ltd. will save the personal information registered by members for a period of six months from the month the service suspension was requested. If members resume using the service within this period, they can continue using the saved information.
Article 15 (Deletion of Registration)
1.Members can delete their registration to this service at any time .
2.DIP Co. Ltd. may delete a Member’s registration when the account has been inactive for six months.
Article 16 (Exemption of Responsibility)
1.DIP Co. Ltd. does not make any guarantees with regards to the accuracy or availability of the information contents provided by corporate or individual members, except for the information originating with DIP Co.Ltd.
2.DIP Co, Ltd. does not take any responsibility for any losses experienced by members due to registration with and use of this service.
Article 17 (Change of Agreement)
DIP Co. Ltd. can alter this agreement at any time without approval from members. Once revised contents for this agreement have been displayed on the website for the period of one month members are considered to have agreed.
Article 18 (Compensation for Loss)
Members are obliged to compensate DIP Co. Ltd. for any losses suffered when members violate this agreement.
Article 19 (Jurisdictional Court)
Regarding disputes over this agreement, the Tokyo local district court will be the court of first instance.
Article 20 (Additional Clause)
This agreement is put into effect on February 14, 2005.
